Coogee Plaza Dental’s
We Are Open and back in full swing!
As of 11th May 2020 the government has eased dental service restrictions to ‘Level 1’.
What does this mean?
We can complete the whole range of dental treatments as per usual.
However, we are still taking high level of precautions and screening all patients prior to their appointments by asking if they have:
Travelled overseas or interstate in the past 14 days.
Felt unwell, including but not limited to symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath.
Been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
If you answer YES to any of these questions, then we cannot provide routine dental care and will reschedule the appointment for 14 days after return from travel or contact with a COVID-19 case, or when symptoms have resolved and you are no longer considered a risk.
Our Precaution Measures:
We are still screening patients prior to their appointments and you will notice things will be bit different when you visit us. We will leave space between appointments and clean down the clinic and front office after each appointment. In addition, we have also taken the following extra measures for everyone’s safety:
⦁ All magazines, newspapers, books and toys have been removed from the waiting room as they are not single use and cannot be cleaned.
⦁ We have antibacterial hand sanitizer available in our waiting room for patient use.
⦁ Our staff is conducting disinfection of common areas such as internal and external door handles, light switches, reception desk, pens, HICAPS and EFTPOS machine and other common surfaces multiple times a day.
⦁ All our staff have been trained and adhere to proper hand wash and hygiene standards.
⦁ We will continue our high level of sterilization of all our dental equipment and clinical room
